Founded as Hope Spark & Hope, the company then traded as Hope Cairns & Associates until Principal Freddie Forstner changed the trading name in the eighties to Heritage Real Estate. The company still trades under that name as well as Battery Point & Heritage Real Estate.

Freddie Forstner is in his 30th year of real estate....all with the same company. Prior to that, Forstner was a journalist with The Examiner, the Australian Broadcasting Commission, and several overseas postings. The company secretary, Sue Townsend, and sales consultants Pauline Shirley and Susan Hussey have many years experience and the team prides itself with having a good grasp of the Hobart real estate scene. Apart from residential and commercial sales in Battery Point and Sandy Bay, Heritage prides itself with some of the more significant sales throughout Hobart and Southern Tasmania. Selling trips interstate and overseas often result in success locally, interstate and overseas.
